The Georgia Aquarium is a 550,000 square foot educational marine science study center located within Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park. As the world’s largest aquarium, the Georgia Aquarium features more animals than any other aquarium in more than eight million gallons of water. Through a path of more than sixty exhibits, the Aquarium tells a global water story, with features modeled after the greatest zoos and aquariums in the world. The project includes extensive public amenity and exhibit areas, with multiple retail and food service areas, multi-purpose banquet hall, classrooms and 4D Theater. The lighting design encompassed all interior and exterior public areas, free standing parking facility and overall roadway and site lighting for the campus.
